From the Times Herald-Record:

Tom Marino, Republican incumbent candidate for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, which includes Pike County, says his focus is “legislation to get the federal government out of the way.”

“Thousands of regulations crush jobs,” from corporate to construction, he said.

Marino wants to see costs to businesses reduced. He favors lowering corporate taxes by nearly a half, from 37 percent to 20 percent. He says money would be generated by “people with good paying jobs who pay taxes and spend money funding Medicare and government.” He says he often receives calls from small business owners who find employee health insurance requirements too expensive because of recent federal Affordable Care Act legislation.
